About Indie Bookstore Day:
April 30th, 2016, is Independent Bookstore Day. What better way to celebrate than by visiting some of Brooklyn’s awesome, diverse collection of independent bookstores — and possibly winning some free books and other cool prizes?
The Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl invites you to plan your own self-directed bookstore crawl. Visit five or more stores and complete a task at each one (and post it on social media using our #bkbookstorecrawl hashtag), and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win prizes including gift cards to some of the sponsoring stores and some cool free books.

In addition, we will be continuing our Bye Buy sale. After being located at the wonderful POWERHOUSE Arena mezzanine in Dumbo for the past 10 years, the publishing company is relocating imminently, and will no longer have a ground floor location. So we’re selling our new and catalogued titles, libraries, limited editions, archival editions, and wonderful surprises over the next few weeks to lighten the load.
