About the Reading.
Experience two essential new female voices while overlooking the iconic New York skyline at our annual Books Beneath the Bridge reading series! About the Authors.

Chelsea Hodson credit Ryan LowryChelsea Hodson earned her MFA at Bennington College and has been awarded fellowships from MacDowell Colony and PEN Center USA Emerging Voices. Her work has been published in Black Warrior Review, The Lifted Brow, Hobart, The Scofield, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, and more. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Julie Buntin Julie Buntin is from northern Michigan. Her debut novel, MARLENA, was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle’s John Leonard Prize, longlisted for The Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize, and named a best book of 2017 by over thirteen outlets, including The Washington Post, NPR, and Kirkus Reviews. Her writing has appeared in The AtlanticVogueThe New York Times Book Review, Guernica, and other publications. She has taught creative writing at New York University, Yale Writers’ Workshop, and Marymount Manhattan College, and is the Director of Writing Programs at Catapult. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
