Celebrate the launch of the second issue of The Milan Review with readings by Seth Fried, Robert Lopez, and Lynne Tillman. The Milan Review of the Universe pairs authors and artists together in 12 chapters named after the signs of the zodiac.

About The Milan Review:

The Milan Review Of The Universe is the second issue of The Milan Review, a semi-annual literary journal printed in Italy that consists of short stories and original artworks. The first issue of The Milan Review was The Milan Review Of Ghosts.

The Milan Review Of The Universe is made up of 224 color pages inside a dark blue cover. It is divided into twelve chapters, each named after a sign of the zodiac, and each chapter contains a short story and a portfolio by a different artist. The artists and the authors were paired arbitrarily.

Writers: Iphgenia Baal, Amie Barrodale, Chiara Barzini, Blake Butler, Matthias "Wolfboy" Connor, Seth Fried, Amelia Gray, Shane Jones, Robert Lopez, Clancy Martin, Francesco Pacifico, Lynne Tillman.

About the readers:

Robert Lopez is the author of two novels, Part of the World and Kamby Bolongo Mean River, and a collection of short fiction, Asunder. He lives in Brooklyn.

Seth Fried's short stories have appeared in Tin House, One Story, McSweeney's Quarterly Concern, The Kenyon Review, The Missouri Review, and VICE. His work has also been anthologized in The Better of McSweeney's Volume 2 and The Pushcart Prize XXXV: The Best of the Small Presses. His debut short story collection, The Great Frustration, was published in May 2011 by Soft Skull Press.

Lynne Tillman's most recent book is her fourth collection of stories, Someday This Will Be Funny (Cursor/Red Lemonade Press, 2011). She is currently working on a new novel.
