About the author:

Jon J Muth's previous picture books have been met with critical acclaim and embraced by readers of all ages. His many awards include a Caldecott Honor for Zen Shorts, a Children's Choice Illustrator of the Year Award from the Children's Book Council for Zen Ties, and a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators for Come On, Rain!, by Karen Hesse. Mr. Muth's Zen version of Stone Soup was a National Council for Teachers of English Notable Children's Book.
