RETNA, REVOK & SABER’s upcoming exhibition “All Writes Reserved” brings West Coast graffiti to the Big Apple.

“All Writes Reserved” is full of blindingly colorful, carefully rendered, and physically distorted letterforms and artwork. The exhibit will also house a large-scale installation that combines West Coast graffiti with found objects from the streets of New York. By utilizing found objects, they are taking ownership of the integrated items, and are essentially translating what occurs in the streets to this exhibition.

RETNA’s style and experience have been pure Los Angeles from the beginning. He took equal cues from gang graffiti blocks and bright, old school renderings. He is known for his complex and eye-catching pieces painted on walls allover L.A. and beyond. RETNA’s art is collected by a number of celebrities, and he has shown his work at such institutions as the Pacific Design Center.

REVOK took to graffiti with an unparalleled combination of daring and artistry. His hardcore approach includes painting rooftops and billboards, combined with painting incredibly intricate walls. REVOK is unquestionably a real mover of the graffiti movement, one of the world’s best for the past decade.

SABER was already a fixture in the Los Angeles graffiti scene, but in 1997 when he completed the largest graffiti piece ever created he was catapulted to global legend. His piece on the sloping bank of the Los Angeles River is nearly the size of a football field, and can be read clear as day from a satellite photo. SABER is also known for his surreal landscapes, groundbreaking metal, and wood sculptures and painstakingly rendered hyper-realistic canvases.
