Book Signing: 7–8pm | Reception: 8–9pm
CHECK OUT THE PARTY PICS
On December 5, The powerHouse Arena will host a holiday extravaganza book signing for Magnum Magnum, a landmark book celebrating sixty years of the famed photography cooperative Magnum Photos. The evening will kick off with a press preview for Magnum Magnum and a VIP reception, to be followed by a public book signing and public reception. Magnum photographers as well as over two dozen powerhouse photographers, artists, and authors will be available for book signings.
At 12.75 x 15.75 inches, 564 pages, and with over 400 four color and duotone photographs Magnum Magnum brings together the greatest work, celebrating the vision, imagination, and brilliance of Magnum photographers, both the acknowledged greats of photography in the twentieth century—among them, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, Eve Arnold, and Werner Bischof—and the modern masters and rising stars of our time, such as Martin Parr, Susan Meiselas, Alec Soth, Jim Goldberg, and Jonas Bendiksen.
Magnum photographers will be in attendance that evening signing copies of the book. The list of photographers will be confirmed closer to the event.
